History
A Medicine Hat company purchased the former Green Tree Motel in February of 2004. A new concept transformed into the Elkwater Lake Lodge & Resort, which is comprised of 38 luxurious suites, and 6 cabins. A phased condominium development of up to 24 units will also be available for purchase and rent. Phase one - "Alpine Springs", is currently under construction and has 6 units for sale.
The grand opening of the new Lodge will be celebrated in the spring of 2005,
providing 33 new suites of affordable luxury. Amenities include an indoor salt water pool and hot tub, conference centre, seasonal spa, library, restaurant, lounge, and on-site designated relaxation areas.
Spring of 2005 will also mark the introduction
of condominium-style living in the Elkwater area, when "Alpine
Springs"-
a six unit condominium will be completed. Other
condos will follow in 2006 and marketing will commence in October 2005.
