International Conservation Committee, April 2008
Pre-organization of meals, meeting rooms and accommodation was so efficient, few problems arose. When issues were brought up, they were solved swiftly and efficiently. Food quality is particularly important to these types of functions. The food was, of course, was superb. We will be back in 2010!
Concrete Company
The stay was excellent and all my staff said that it was probably one of the best meals they have had at a Christmas party. They would all recommend your hotel to their friends and family.
Supply Company
The food was awesome! The attention to detail for both the food and beverages was amazing. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously! Our staff said they would come back for a weekend getaway with their spouse.
School Board
I believe for the most part phenomenal! The food needless to say is fabulous! We appreciate the flexibility the Lodge demonstrated in the many demands we had of you.
Such an event is usually made up of smaller events coordinated by different people, and we found that the Lodge staff was helpful in accommodating our varying schedule. I appreciate your accountability to do a great job.
Athletics Department
What a wonderful setting for our meetings. The food was great and the accommodations were more luxurious than we had anticipated. We have already booked our Department meetings for June of 2007. Thank you for making this the positive experience that we hoped it would be.
Board of Governors
The food was excellent! I think we got great value for what we paid, it was tasty, well presented and delivered on time. The guest suites are great. All of the members of our board commented on how beautiful and luxurious their rooms were.
I can't say enough about the staff. Friendly, efficient, professional, helpful, etc!!! We felt very taken care of. We had a good meeting and we didn't have to worry about anything other than our agenda. I will certainly recommend the Lodge to others looking for a retreat spot.
School Division
The rooms and the staff were terrific. As well, the food is terrific. We're looking forward to returning next June. Thanks for everything.
Wedding
The food was tasty!! And that is a consistent comment that we hear about your place! All-in-all, a very good meal with kudos to the chef. Staff was friendly and helpful, kudos all around. You have a wonderful facility, a good staff. We thank you for all your assistance in making our wedding day/weekend a wonderful event.
Reunion
The food was tasty and all the staff was very nice and helpful. We had a great time and enjoyed your venue. We have recommended your resort to friends and have suggested that they hold their family functions at Elkwater.
Wedding
On a whole the staff was very good. The banquet staff was polite and speedy at getting plates cleared and they found the earring which I lost. The food was fantastic. We had a lot of people comment on the bowtie pasta salad AND the salmon, both seemed to be a big hit.
Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We were very impressed. The banquet room was comfortable and quaint for our gathering. The hotel rooms were very nice, everyone was impressed. It was a pleasure working with you. Thank you for everything.
